The multichannel, high voltage, computer controlled function Generator WFG500 is an exceptional instrument designed primarily for experiments on addressing liquid crystal devices and is most suitable for all applications where synchronized trains of pulses with variable width and amplitude are required.

The WFG500 Waveform Generator delivers arbitrarily placed trigger-pulses and may itself be triggered externally. It can operate in one continuous and two burst modes. The summing module produces a low-voltage superposition of two chosen waveforms. Due to the unique double memory concept the waveforms can be modified during operation. Each output channel contains a very fast high-voltage amplifier.

High Voltage Linear Amplifiers

  • OUTPUT: from ±100 to ±400V, 70-1000mA; DC up to 1 MHz; low output impedance
  • GAIN: 10x, 15x, 20x, 100x or custom
  • SLEW RATE: up to 300 V/µs

General purpose amplifiers designed to extend the output range of low voltage signal sources, with a very low output impedance and fast response. The output is linear from DC up to megahertz range.

High Current Linear Amplifiers

  • OUTPUT: ±35 V, 2 A; DC to 5 MHz; impedance 4 ohm
  • GAIN: 10x/variable
  • SLEW RATE: 600 V/µs

General purpose amplifiers designed to extend the output range of low voltage signal sources, with a very low output impedance, very fast response and high current. The output is linear from DC up to few megahertz range.
